Man's Best Friend Saves Freshman Girl
Freshman Serena Williams, a student at Nipomo High school, was taking her usual walk home from school down Thomson Road. She started to notice a white old Toyota following her closely. She didn't think any thing of it at first so she just kept on walking.
But the car was not leaving her alone she soon became frightful as the car would follow any move she would make. She did not know what to do no one was around she could go to and tell. She started to run and as soon as she did a man got out of the car and began to chase her. At this point she started screaming for help running as fast as she could.
A couple houses down a retired police dog lying down on the lawn as he does on a usual daily bases when he became alert of the girls call for help. He soon got up and charged down the street towards the Serena and the man. The dog attacked the man and Serena tried to find help. The man charged back into his car and drove off.
Soon after the police arrived and they tried to get as much information about the man as they could from Serena. The police knew the dog from old times and showed much gratitude that he was there to save the day. They knew that old Heinz still had it in him to do the job. But no one was as thankful as Serena for Heinz saving her. This proves that dog is really man's best friend.
